Opposition parties hail Mitra bail plea rejection

Opposition parties in West Bengal today hailed the cancellation of bail of Trinamool Congress leader Madan Mitra, an accused in the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam, saying it was a victory of truth.
"When Mitra got bail, Madan Mitra said 'Satya'r Joy' (victory of truth). It was SatyaNash. Today's verdict reinforces #SatyamevJayate," CPI(M) politburo member Mohammed Salim said.
"The state and the central government has to ensure that the looted hard earned money of the common man in the #SaradaScam is returned to them at the earliest," CPI(M) state secrtary and leader of Opposition Surya Kanta Mishra said.
BJP secretary Siddarth Nath Singh said that the CBI appealing for the cancellation of bail proves that there has been no alleged match-fixing between TMC and BJP as alleged by the Opposition.

"The opposition has been alleging that there is under- -the-wraps friendship between BJP and TMC. But the truth has come out today," Singh said.
Congress leader Abdul Mannan said that the verdict proves that "those who have committed crime will have to pay for their sins. Those who have looted the money of poor people need to return the money.
