George Newbern, who played Bryan MacKenzie in the 1991 comedy classic, has revealed the original film and sequel's director Charles Shyer has written a script and that all the cast members could be returning, reported Us Weekly.
"Charles Shyer wrote a script. I know there's a script out there. And there's talk. I don't know how far it got but I'm sure most of the cast would be into it if the script was right. So maybe that's just a question of that happening.
The first "Father of the Bride" movie released in 1991. It starred Steve Martin, Diane Keaton and Kimberly Williams in lead roles. The sequel released in 1995.
Both the films had a great run at the box office worldwide.
