Over 120 convicted prisoners released from Raj jails

Over 120 convicted prisoners have been released before time from various jails of Rajasthan on ground of good behaviour and serious ailment.
The government had recently decided to release over 150 such prisoners to promote good behaviour in jail.
Since yesterday, about 120 inmates have been released, a jail officer said.
"The process of release of the prisoners is on and final number of such prisoners will be collected by tomorrow," the officer said.
The prisoners who have completed two-third of punishment and conducted well in the jail, or who are suffering from serious diseases have been selected for the release.

Such prisoners also included male convicts aged over 70 years and female convicts over 65 years.
