A total of 63,603 blankets, 3,500 tents, 1000 mattresses, 1000 umbrellas, necessary medicines and tarpaulins for earthquake victims have been dispatched during the past few days, an official spokesman said here today.
Under 'Operation Maitri', the state government has already sent Gurgaon Additional Deputy Commissioner Vinay Partap Singh and Ellenabad Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) Dhirendra Khadgata as members of the advance party to Nepal for coordinating the relief supplies to the affected people, he said.
These teams, donors, officers of voluntary organisations have played significant role in collecting the relief material, he said.
