Over 9 lakh quintals of sugar produced by Haryana mills

The Cooperative Sugar Mills in Haryana have so far produced over 9.02 lakh quintals of sugar by crushing 114.55 lakh quintals of sugarcane during the current crushing season.
Besides, Cooperative Sugar Mill Assandh has crushed 11.97 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced 97,600 quintals of sugar.
Stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana State Federation of Cooperative Sugar Mills said that a maximum of 19.99 lakh quintals of sugarcane has been crushed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad, followed by Rohtak Sugar Mill which has crushed 16.93 lakh quintals of sugarcane.
These two sugar mills have produced over 1.77 lakh quintals and 1.17 lakh quintals of sugar respectively.

As much as 12.68 lakh quintals of sugarcane has been crushed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal while Cooperative Sugar Mills of Kaithal and Gohana have crushed 11.16 lakh quintals and 10.29 lakh quintals of sugarcane respectively.
The three have produced 1.05 lakh quintals, 87,400 quintals and 79,165 quintals of sugar respectively.

He said that Cooperative Sugar Mills of Panipat and Meham have crushed 9.79 lakh quintals and 9.63 lakh quintals of sugarcane thus producing 81,075 quintals and 68,350 quintals of sugar respectively.
Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mills of Sonipat and Jind have crushed 8.38 lakh quintals and 8.17 lakh quintals of sugarcane respectively, producing 64,480 quintals and 59,655 quintals of sugar respectively.

The Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has crushed 8.07 lakh quintals of sugarcane and produced 61,790 quintals of sugar, he added.
