The Personal Assistant of Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, who suffered serious injuries in an accident recently, died at a private hospital here.
P C Madhan, who was admitted to Velammalhospital here died without responding to treatment on Friday, family sources said.
He was 40 and is survived by wife and two children.
The accident occurred last week while he was proceeeding in a car to the district from Madurai, they said.
