Packaging factory gutted in Faridabad

A packaging factory was today gutted in a major fire at Dharam Kanta road in Mujesar Industrial area here, police said.
The fire broke out when a spark from short circuit of wires fall on packing-cartons igniting the fire, they said.
However, the workers in the factory managed to make their way outside to save their life at the time of the incident.
SHO, Mujesar, Inspector Rajendra Singh said that five fire tenders took around two hours to extinguish the fire.
The loss due to fire is yet to be ascertained, he said.
