"The health condition of Padmanabham is stable," Rajamahendravaram Government General Hospital Superintendent TRamesh told reporters here today.
Padamanabham, who sat on an indefinite fast, is currently in police custody.
"He (Padmanabham) was not consuming any food but only consuming. He was not cooperating with the medical teams to conduct medical tests", the Superintendent added.
Medical assistance is also being provided to his wife Padmavathi and daughter-in-law Siri,who also have been admitted in the same hospital, the doctor said, adding condition of his son is "satisfactory".
