BSF troops apprehended the Pakistani national who had crossed over from across the IB in Arnia around 9:30 am, a BSF officer said.
During preliminary investigation, he revealed his name as Shahnawaz, son of Ali Bahadur, of Mankot village near Kanoor, tehsil Pasroor in Sialkot district of Pakistan, the officer said.
The man is quite weak and seems to have inadvertently crossed into the Indian side, he said adding efforts are on to contact Pakistan Rangers and take back the man.
