The AAP government is, however, maintaining that according to it, Rajendra Kumar, who is secretary to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is the home secretary of Delhi and all files pertaining to the department, are being sent to him.
"Deputy CM today called a meeting with heads of all government departments. Pal, as Home Secretary, attended the meeting," a senior government official said.
The AAP government recently removed Dharam Pal as Home Secretary for notifying the appointment of M K Meena as the chief of Delhi's Anti-Corruption Branch, which was done on the orders of Lt Governor Najeeb Jung.
Meanwhile, speaking on resident doctors strike, Sisodia, in meeting, is learnt to have said that it should have been stopped earlier and the strike was called due to government's failure.
The Deputy CM is also understood to have said that the demands doctors are raising are not wrong. "What will doctors do if there is no water for four days in hospitals?" he is said to have asked.
