The decision to transfer District Collector Lokesh Kumar and SP Shahnawaz Qasim was taken on the basis of a complaint filed by the Telangana unit of Congress levelling allegations of violation of model code of conduct by the ruling TRS, a release from the Chief Electoral Officer said.
The Commission posted M Danakishor as the District Collector, R Rama Rajeshwari as Superintendent of Police and B Shankar as the returning officer for Palair constituency, the release added.
