Palmolein, soyabean oils fall on global cues

Prices of palmolein and soyabean oils drifted by Rs 100 per quintal at the oils and oilseeds market today on weak global trend.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides weak global trend, sluggish demand at prevailing higher levels mainly led to decline in palmolein and soyabean oil prices.
Meanwhile, palm oil for April delivery retreated 0.6 per cent to USD 804 a tonne on Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 6,500 and Rs 6,150 per quintal, respectively.

Soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and soyabean degum (Kandla) oils also moved down by similar margin to Rs 7,400 and Rs 7,150 per quintal, respectively.

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.
Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,160-1,290.
Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,700, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,950-2,000, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,450, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 11,500, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,400, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,150, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,300, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,250, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,500, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,150, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,650-1,700.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,450, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,400-9,500, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,170-3,270 and Palm Fatty 3,225-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
