The 47-year-old actress, who wed Salomon, 45, for the second time in January, filed divorce papers on July 3, reported People magazine.
"We ask the media to please respect Pamela and her family's privacy during this time," Anderson's representative said in a statement.
The couple first married in 2007 and were together only a couple of months before having the union annulled. Anderson had revealed she again started seeing Salomon in last October and the two got married six months ago.
Anderson has two sons with ex-husband Tommy Lee, and Salomon has two daughters from a previous marriage.
