Two drones fitted with cameras will be pressed into service in the last phase of panchayat poll tomorrow to keep a watch on the movement of people around polling booths of 11 villages under "sensitive" Razapur block.
Ghaziabad district magistrate Vimal Kumar Sharma said the two drones were tested at the district police lines in Harsaon today.
These cameras will be deployed in these polling booths to screen the movement of suspicious persons and if any person or candidate is found violating the model code of conduct, action will be taken against them.
A control room has also been set up at police lines to monitor the drones, the district magistrate added.
