"Panchayats will get all their rights by next financial year," Soren said, addressing a function here as part of the fort-night long Foundation Day celebrations across the state.
Stating that his government was on the right track in delivering welfare schemes and other amenities to common people, he said merely carving out new blocks would not necessarily lead to development.
"The government has addressed all sections of the people during about four months of governance," he said.
He said a road bridge over the Sone river touching Palamau to link Bihar would be constructed, adding a detailed project report was recently submitted to the government.
