In the women's section, defending champion Amee Kamani, Vidya Pillai, Chitra Magimairaj and Arantxa Sanchis are the notable players.
Tamil Nadu would be represented by J Varun kumar, Pranit Ramachandani, S A Saleem and talented youngster S Shrikrishna.
In the women's section, the host contingent would include among others Anupama Ramachandran, Neena Praveen and Soumini Srinivas.
Noted referee R B Ganesh will be the chief referee for the championship.
The qualifying rounds commence for men on December 16 and the main event starts on December 20.
The women event starts on December 20.
