Parag Milk Foods Q1 net up 54% at Rs 11 cr

Dairy firm Parag Milk Foods today reported a 54 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 10.81 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
Parag Milk Foods had recently launched an Initial Public Offer (IPO) to raise Rs 750 crore.
Its net profit stood at Rs 7.02 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income from operations rose to Rs 383.46 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal from Rs 373.78 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
During the entire 2015-16 fiscal, Mumbai-based firm had posted a net profit of Rs 47.31 crore over a revenue of Rs 1,645.13 crore.
