Parasites like NC survived on UPA charity: Cong minister

Congress is a national party and does not rely upon small polity components and "parasites like NC", which survived on charity of UPA, a Jammu and Kashmir minister said today.
"CM (Omar Abdullah) had claimed that he was working to make Rahul Gandhi as PM. Congress is national political party and does not rely upon any such small polity components and parasites like NC, who indeed survived with charity of UPA," Congress Minister Sham Lal Sharma told a public rally in Akhnoor Assembly border constituency
He even accused the National Conference (NC) party of being anti-Jammu whose "ministers always played with the sentiments" of Jammu people.

The minister reiterated that NC was indulging in "childish political gimmicks" to shift its accountability to Congress, to divert the attention of masses.
He envisaged an agenda of development with formation of separate regional development councils to address Jammu regional aspirations so as to enjoy equal opportunity in all political spheres.
