Parents protest against pvt schools' fee hike enters 4th day

Angry over fee hike by several private schools in the city, the protest by parents in front of collectorate here entered its fourth day today with district administration failing to pacify them.
Scores of parents of students have been staging a dharna outside district collectorate against fee hike by several private schools which is up by 40 per cent.
Despite efforts by district administration officers to convince them to call off their dharna, the parents said they would continue with the protest till their demands are met.
The protestors alleged that the district administration has lost its control over private schools, which are "extorting money" from them by increasing the fee.
