Actress Parineeti Chopra is unhappy with rumours that she is going to feature in director Farah Khan's next film.
There were reports that the "Happy New Year" director is penning a woman-centric film which might star Parineeti and actress Alia Bhat.
The "Shudh Desi Romance" actress, who was also rumoured to be doing superstar Salman Khan's "Sultan", is tired of hearing her name attached to "every single" film.
"I am just sad and so is Farah and everybody. Every single film that is being announced somehow has my name in it. I don't know why," Parineeti said in an interview.
"I think it is because I am not shooting right now, so people think oh this must be the film she is working now. I am just tired of that. I want people to wait and let me announce when I am ready," she said.
The actress made her debut in the 2011 film "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl" and was last seen in "Kill Dil" in 2014.
"Last year I wanted to take a break. I had bought a house and needed a lot of time to do it up. It was a big project in my life. I spent six months doing the house and working on myself. Then I was reading a lot of scripts, but the year just ended. Now I am finally ready...I'll announce it soon," she said.
The 27-year-old actress, however, does not rule out the possibility of doing a TV show if she likes the content.
"I would love to. If some amazing show comes my way...I think I could be good on TV. I love to talk, love people, so both the things will be positive for me. I would love to be on TV, but a good show has to come my way," she said.
Parineeti was speaking at the launch of New Whisper Ultra where she is part of the 'Own Those Five Days' campaign.
