He said he has been advocating "high degree of patience" at all levels to facilitate resolution of differences within the party.
In a hurriedly organised press conference late tonight here, Divakaran pointed towards party workers around him and said, "They are behind Chinamma (Sasikala) for growth and welfare of the party and are not expecting anything in return".
Referring to statewide tours announced by Dhinakaran which will commence on August 14, Sasikala's brother said such a move will facilitate ending differences in the party.
He also played down the controversies surrounding the AIADMK and said people have their own views which need to be looked at.
