Patel, Cummings create upsets to enter round II

Aryan Patel upset seventh seed Kabir Chotrani , while wild card Cyle Cummings shocked eighth seed Nihal Kothari, both in straight sets, in boys' singles first round of BVG India-Arun Wakankar ATF Asian Under 14 Series Tennis Tournament here today.
Another wild card Richa Chaugule of Pune dropped the opening set before clinching a 0-6 6-1 6-2 win over Malvika Shukla and entered the second round of the girls singles.
