The train has a new halt at Dhariwal railway station now.
On the occasion, Bajwa said he would take up the issue of construction of the second platform and basic amenities at the Dhariwal railway station with the Railway Ministry.
He would also take up the issue of an unmanned railway crossing here, he said.
Dhariwal town falls in Gurdaspur Parliamentary constituency and the Qadian Assembly segment presently represented by his wife Charanjit Kaur Bajwa.
Bajwa said he earlier got the Qadian-Beas rail line approved but the project could not be executed because SAD-BJP government did not acquire the land for it.
