Pathology lab firm's portal allegedly hacked in Maha

Amid media reports of hacking of the website of a company here which runs pathology laboratories in Thane, Dhule and Nashik, the firm today said there has been no leak of any confidential information of patients.
HS Pathology Private Limited's website was allegedly hacked by some unidentified persons but police said no case has been reported to it so far.
A spokesman of the pathology said the company took "necessary action" by deleting all records from the website and shutting down the portal temporarily.
"While the website has been hacked, none of the confidential information on health issue of any of our patients has been compromised," the spokesman said in a statement.

While the company's director Amit Sharma refused to comment, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Cell, Sandeep Bhajibhakre told PTI that so far no complaint had been lodged with the Thane police.
