Patnaik asks ASI to complete Jagamohan repair work in 4 months

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today asked Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the state's works department to complete the repair work of Jagamohan in Sri Jagannth Temple in the next four months.
Patnaik gave the direction after a visit to the temple during the day.
"Offered gratitude in Sri Mandir for successful completion of #Rath Yatra & #ACC (Asian Athletics Championship) 2017. Prayed for prosperity of our people," Patnaik twitted after his Puri visit.
Patnaik said he reviewed the repair work going on in the temple.
He directed that the repair works to be completed within four months.
The repair work of the Jagamohan, the assembly hall which faces the sanctum sanctorum of the 13th century temple, began in early 2016.

Earlier in the day, a review meeting on repair works of the Jagamohan was held under the chairmanship of Sri Jagannath Temple Administration chief P K Jena. ASI officials, members of the technical committee, servitors were also present in the meeting.
"The repair works has been stopped due to the Rath Yatra. We will start work very soon to complete remaining work," Jena told reporters later.
