Adams plays a "tortured bachelor" in the original web series from VICE, who wants to achieve spiritual enlightenment, reported Entertainment Tonight.
"I'm more single than I think I've ever been in my actual life. It's fun to play this, you know he's a completely different human being than what I've been," Adams said.
The character is over sexualised but the actor said his wife does not have any issue about it.
"She loves this stuff; she gets a kick out of it. She loves to see me get weird. She had fun when I'd come home and tell her what I was doing every day, she was like, 'Okay that's different,'" Adams quipped.
