NIPHM, established in 1996, is now an autonomous body for promoting environmentally sustainable plant health management practises in diverse and changing agro-climatic conditions.
It also provides inputs for policy formulation at the state and national levels.
The institute also offers programme in rodent pest management, bio-control agent production protocols and integrated weed management.
