He said more than 1000 km of railway lines will be laid and over Rs 42000 crore spent on road construction im the coming years.
"What is called naxal areas... In the next three years there will be a wave of peace and development," the third-term chief minister told a BJYM convention, called 'India First'.
Speaking about the national politics, he said it has been polarised with BJP on the one side as Congress used to be earlier and all opposition parties on the other.
Heaping praise on the budget citing its "pro-poor and pro-farmers" schemes as he asked party workers to study them in detail and take them to the masses.
Chhattisgarh had seen a lot of development and per capita annual income had gone upto Rs 70000 due to industrialisation and other developmental and welfare works, he said.
Against the national average of per capita electricity consumption of 600 unit, it was 1560 unit in the state, he said.
