Pegasystems expands University Academic Programme

Software firm Pegasystems today announced an expansion of its University Academic Programme (UAP) for training engineering students on the tools and applications required for the industry.
Pegasystems has partnered TalentSprint, a firm involved in training youth for careers in IT, banking and other sectors, for the initiative.
"India's developer ecosystem is rapidly expanding, and with the world's focus on India as an R&D hub, there is definitely a demand for highly-skilled talent. This programme is targeted to train and certify students to become highly skilled market-ready engineers...," Suman Reddy, MD, Pegasystems India, told reporters here.
"TalentSprint is delighted to collaborate with an industry leader like Pegasystems and offer best-of-class global technology skills to young job seekers in the IT sector.
"This partnership is a major step towards ensuring that even fresh engineering graduates can acquire relevant competencies and certifications to configure an advanced CRM and BPM platforms," Santanu Paul, Co-Founder and CEO, TalentSprint, said.
Pegasystems' UAP is a worldwide initiative that offers training and certification on the Pega 7 platform for both university professors as well as students of engineering, computer science, Business Information Technology and others, Pegasystems said.
