People want relief from DMK, AIADMK rules: CPI

CPI in Tamil Nadu today exuded confidence that the People's Welfare Front will secure victory in the May 16 Assembly elections, as people are seeking a change from the successive "corrupt governments provided by both AIADMK and DMK" in the state.
"Both the parties had ruined the state and destroyed the natural resources for their corrupt means and taken Tamil Nadu backwards", party's state unit Secretary R Mutharasan told reporters here.
"People wanted a change and relief from the Dravidian parties," he claimed.
