Power supply in the capital was curtailed by 470 MW by Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd for the second successive day today.
The PGCIL cut supply to BSES discoms due to non-payment of dues.
Officials said PGCIL cut power supply to BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd (BRPL) and BSES Yamuna Power Ltd (BYPL) from a number of power generation stations.
There was, however, no significant impact because of the cut in power supply, they said, adding that the power cut was 300 MW for BRPL and 170 MW for BYPL.
A BRPL official described the PGCIL action as "arbitrary and unjustified".
