Philippine presidential candidate Poe says concedes to Duterte

Philippine presidential candidate Senator Grace Poe said today she had conceded victory to Rodrigo Duterte, the mayor of the southern city of Davao who had a clear lead in the election vote count.
"I congratulate Mayor Duterte," Poe, who was running third according to a poll monitor, told reporters. She added he "is clearly the leading candidate in the ongoing count and has been chosen by a plurality of our people".
