T Nallusamy (75) from Pazhanganatham in his petition said a joint 'Patta' (title deed) for 1.94 acres stands in his name and four siblings at Madakulam village here.
He said a civil suit was pending before the Madurai District Munsif Court regarding the land. The High Court also had been approached by the legal heirs of his siblings regarding ownership of land and for issuance of separate 'patta' for the property.
When he questioned the MLA's son and wife, the MLA threatened him with dire consequences and his son threatened to kill him, the petitioner alleged and sought the court's intervention.
He claimed that police had not acted on his complaint.
