Delhiites woke up to a pleasant morning with the sky being partly cloudy and the minimum temperature settling at 16.6 degrees Celsius.
In Delhi, the maximum temperature settled at 30.4 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal. The weatherman has predicted that no rain is expected in the next one or two days.
According to MeT forecast, isolated rain may occur in west Rajasthan due to the impact of Cyclone Nilofar.
According to the MeT office, the maximum temperatures in most parts of Punjab and Haryana hovered between two to four notches below normal.
Some places in the region like Karnal, Bhiwani, Bathinda and Kapurthala had foggy conditions in the morning.
Ambala was coldest in plains of Punjab and Haryana with day temperature of 28.1 degrees, two notches below normal.
While Narnaul recorded maximum of 28.2 degrees Celsius, four notches below normal, the maximum at Chandigarh was 28.7 degrees.
