Modi today chaired the 9th meeting of PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation), an IT-based multi-modal platform under which he interacts with top officials of various central departments and state governments via video conferencing.
Chief Secretary Jammu and Kashmir, B R Sharma also participated in the video conference, he said.
Prime Minister reviewed status of the scheme for the development of solar parks in various states including in Jammu and Kashmir.
Prime Minister also reviewed progress with respect to Aadhaar and its seeding with bank accounts, urging all states to complete linkage of Aadhar with 'Jan Dhan' bank accounts for its use to subscribe to various government-run schemes including old-age pension and widow pension schemes, enabling easy authentication of the beneficiary to receive direct benefit transfer.
