PMK CM nominee Anbumani declaresRs 30.12 lakh moveable asset

PMK's chief ministerial candidate and former Union minister Anbumani Ramadoss has declared moveable assets of Rs 30.12 lakh in his election affidavit.
Ramadoss, in the affidavit filed with his nomination from Pennagaram constituency for the May 16 assembly elections, stated that he does not own any immovable property.
His wife Sowmiya, who manages several businesses, has immovable properties worth Rs 51.62 crore and jewelleris worth Rs 6.70 crore.
The former Union Health Minister, son of PMK founder S Ramadoss, has declared a total income of Rs 11.82 lakh for 2014-15 while his wife has recorded income of Rs 64.73 lakh. Besides, their income from agriculture was Rs 25 lakh.
Ramadoss, who also declared that six cases were pending against him in different courts, has Rs 50,000 cash in hand his wife Rs 55,000 and two daughters Rs 35,000 together.
He has deposits in various public sector banks amounting Rs 1.93 lakh and his wife Rs 85,902.
Sowmiya has made investments in four commercial establishments valued at Rs 99.37 lakh.
The PMK leader does not hold any insurance policy or cars. His wife has policies worth Rs six lakh and owns two cars.
Ramadoss owns 900 grams of gold jewellery with a market value of Rs 27.69 lakh while Sowmiya has gold and diamond jewelleris worth Rs 6.70 crore.
He does not own any land or properties while Sowmiya has properties at various places including agricultural land worth Rs 8.20 crore while non-agricultural properties worth Rs 16.83 crore, the affidavit said.
Sowmya holds commercial land valued at Rs 38 lakh and house in T Nagar worth Rs 26.21 crore.
Ramadoss has no loan dues to banks and financial institutions while Sowmya has loans amounting Rs 3.95 crore, the affidavit said.
