Das inaugurated the two schemes here in the presence of Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas (Independent) Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Sudarshan Bhagat, Jharkhand Food Processing, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Minister Saryu Roy and Education Minister Neera Yadav.
While the PMUY has been launched for entire Jharkhand, the DBT transfer of subsidised kerosene has been introduced in Chatra, Hazaribagh, Jamtara and Khunti districts in the first phase.
Under the PMUY, the beneficiary would get a free cylinder, domestic pressure regulator and pipe among other benefits.
