Police arrest two for attempting to break open ATM

A man and a woman, from were today arrested for attempting to break open an ATM machine of a nationalised bank in Sector-35 of Mansarovar area here, police said.
The accused identified as Anil Jangid (30) and Priya Seth (25) tried to crack open the machine with the help of a gas cutter in the wee hours today, SHO of Mansarovar Thana said.
They were caught by a night flying squad who saw them cutting the ATM machine of Bank of India (BoI), he said.
The accused could hardly collect a minimal amount from the ATM as the policemen intercepted them arresting the duo on the spot, he said.

Police is further investigating the case to ascertain their relation to each other and the motive behind the theft, the SHO said.
