Anmol Mukya and Kishan Mukya, both hailing from Darbhanga district of Bihar, were arrested from Langer House area here.
According to police, the duo allegedly entered the house of an industrialist by breaking a window grill yesterday when the owners were out for New Year celebration.
Both the accused had been working at the house until a month ago, Deputy Commissioner of Police A Venkateshwara Rao said.
"The accused, after entering the house, broke open an almirah in the master bedroom and stole jewellery and cash," Rao said.
