PRO of District Execution Force (DEF) and SDPO Kohima, Shouka Kakheto today said that a six-member armed miscreants were reportedly involved in looting of travellers along the National Highway-29 in between Kohima and Chakhama, some 20 km away from Kohima town.
He said upon receiving reports from various quarters about the gang involved in the highway robbery since January this year, personnel of Kohima police had been on the move to nab the miscreants.
The breakthrough was made with the arrest of two of the miscreants after a pre-dawn raid at Mitelephe village under Kohima district on April 18.
