In view of the forthcoming Eid celebrations, the police today conducted a flag march in the city as part of its effort to maintain peace and tranquility.
"The flag march was led by circle officers and SHOs of the concerned police stations of Kavinagar, Sihani gate, Kotwali GT Road, Sahibabad and Indira Puram areas," said Senior Superintendent of Police KS Emmanuel.
"Flag march will be taken out tomorrow in rest of the towns where thickly populated minority colonies are adjoining Hindu dominated areas," he added.
