Police follower, woman commit suicide in UP

In separate incidents, a police follower and a woman today allegedly committed suicide in the district here, police said.
According to police, 35-year-old Amit Kumar Meena, working as waterman (in the ranks of Police Follower) was found hanging at his residence in G-block here.
"Meena hanged himself when his wife had gone outside for some work in the wee hours today morning. His body has been sent for postmortem. The cause of death can be ascertained after post-mortem," Inspector, Reserve Police Lines, Ramesh Chandra said.
Police said the deceased was a native of Alwar district in Rajasthan.
In the other incident, a 28-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide at her residence in Giriraj Vatika under the Refinery area police station, they said.

The woman, Sheela, married to one Rajvir, may have taken the extreme step eventuating of a domestic squabble, police said.
The cause of the deaths in both the cases is yet to be ascertained, police said adding that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
