The deceased's husband, inspector Upendra Chhari is currently posted as in-charge of Bharveli police station in Balaghat district.
The victim, identified as Sayeeda alias Akanksha Chhari, was living in her apartment at Vishnupuri along with her 11-year-old son, allegedly committed by hanging herself last night, following an altercation with her husband over phone, sub-inspector at Bhanwarkua police station said.
After autopsy, the body was handed over to deceased's family members, he said.
Her husband refused to comment on the incident as he is not in a position to speak at the moment.
