Acting DIG (ACB) Narpat Singh Rathore said SHO of Shivpuri police station of Pali district Rajuram Bamaniya had taken the bribe from Narendra Kumar Meena, threatening him and 4 others to set them up in an NDPS case.
After verification of the complaint, the ACB laid a trap at the Shivpuri police station, where the complainant was called by the officer with money.
"The moment, Meena handed over an amount of Rs 35,000 as an initial amount, we caught him and recovered money from him," said ASP Ram Prakash Sharma, who led the trap.
