Police recover looted truck, arrests eight robbers

Police have arrested eight robbers belonging to an inter-state gang and seized a looted truck carrying tyres from their possession, an official said today.
A truck carrying tyres worth Rs 45 lakh was looted by three armed assailants near Nawla village on the Delhi- Haridwar National Highway on September 2.
Eight robbers have been arrested and looted a truck carrying tyres worth Rs 45 lakh were seized, SSP of Mansurpur police station Anant Dev said.
The arrests were made after a manager of the tyre company had lodged a complaint regarding the incident.
