The accused has been identified as Naveed Ahmed of Thathri village in Doda district, a police official said.
A case was registered at Gandoh police station in Doda district on January 30 by the girl's father regarding her kidnapping, the official said.
"Police swung into action and enquired with the relatives of abducted girl, villagers and some non-resident villagers residing in other parts of state," he said.
Acting on a tip-off and call detail reports (CDRS), a police team raided the house of one Charan Singh of Channi Ramma in Jammu and rescued the girl, the official said.
