A police team that went to attend a call was pelted with bricks following which a case was registered against nine persons, officials said here today.
An FIR against nine persons including half dozen ladies has been filed," DSP Vijai Shankar Mishra said.
He said two persons were arrested while hunt for others was on.
Yesterday, a 'Dial 100' vehicle was called on the false pretext that a Max pick-up had been looted, Mishra said.
As soon as the police vehicle reached village Navali, some persons started brick-batting forcing the police to retreat, he added.
