Policeman booked on bribery charges

A case has been registered against a policeman and two others for taking bribe from a drug peddler in order to clear his name from an FIR under NDPS Act.
Tripuri Police Station has registered a case under Prevention of Corruption Act against SHO Anaj Mandi Gurcharan Singh and two others for agreeing to clear the drug peddler's name from the case in lieu of Rs 6.75 lakh, police said.
The two other accused are identified as Nirmal Singh and Vikram Singh.
