Policeman killed in road accident

The in-charge of a police post here was killed after his car rammed into a roundabout near Police Line chowk, police said today.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ram Chander was the resident of village Ameen in Kurukshetra district, police said.
Chander was returning his residence in Police Line area after duty last late night in his personal car which rammed into the roundabout, they added.
He suffered injuries on his head and was rushed to city civil hospital, where he was declared brought dead, police said, adding what led to the accident could not be ascertained immediately.
