Vinod (35), a police constable, Amit (30), who worked as a clerk with the revenue department and one Punjabi (34) got electrocuted when the wire fell on them here late last night, City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Manjeet Singh said.
The two injured have been admitted to the district hospital, Singh added.
According to District Collector Shilpa Gupta the state government has announced a financial help of Rs 2 lakh each to the family members of the deceased and free treatment to the injured after a Member of Parliament Anup Mishra briefed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan about the unfortunate incident.
